Det k\u00e4nns ju s\u00e5 lockande att b\u00f6rja ett \u00e5r med nya, nyttiga vanor. Men verkligheten kommer snabbt ikapp och beroendet smyger sig p\u00e5. Och pl\u00f6tsligt \u00e4r det n\u00e4st intill om\u00f6jligt att st\u00e5 emot.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2002Nikotinberoendet \u00e4r otroligt starkt. Men om man bara h\u00e5ller ut i tre-fyra veckor s\u00e5 bukar de v\u00e4rsta abstinensbesv\u00e4ren f\u00f6rsvinna, s\u00e4ger Karl Olov Fagerstr\u00f6m som \u00e4r psykolog, docent, r\u00f6kavv\u00e4njare och har tilldelats WHO:s medalj f\u00f6r enast\u00e5ende arbete inom tobakskontroll.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2002Hj\u00e4rnan \u00e4r omm\u00f6blerad n\u00e4r man har ett beroende. Den heter Champix och har tv\u00e5 funktioner, dels minskar den r\u00f6kbeg\u00e4ret, dels blockerar den effekten av nikotin om man skulle \u00e5terfalla i r\u00f6kning. Man f\u00e5r allts\u00e5 inte samma effekt av r\u00f6kningen l\u00e4ngre.<\/p>\n<p>Den stora utmaningen \u00e4r att klara av det f\u00f6rsta \u00e5ret.<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2002Har man varit r\u00f6kfri i ett \u00e5r \u00e4r det ytterst s\u00e4llsynt med \u00e5terfall, men i \u00e5tminstone ett \u00e5r m\u00e5ste man vara p\u00e5 sin vakt. S\u00e4rskilt om man r\u00e5kar i psykiska tr\u00e5ngm\u00e5l eller hamnar i en kris. Som f\u00f6re detta r\u00f6kare vet man att &#8220;om jag bara fick min cigarett s\u00e5 skulle jag kunna m\u00e5 lite b\u00e4ttre just nu, jag skulle kunna ta udden av den h\u00e4r k\u00e4nslan jag brottas med&#8221;. Det g\u00e4ller att h\u00e5lla ut, s\u00e4rskilt i perioder n\u00e4r man har det stressigt och jobbigt.<\/p>\n<p>Hur hanterar man en partner som r\u00f6ker och inte riktigt \u00e4r motiverad att sluta?<\/p>\n<p>\u2013\u2002Jag tycker man ska ta upp fr\u00e5gan n\u00e4r man har det som b\u00e4st, n\u00e4r man tittar varandra i \u00f6gonen och har det trevligt. D\u00e5 kan det man s\u00e4ger ha effekt p\u00e5 den andra m\u00e4nniskan. Lugnt och ink\u00e4nnande kan man s\u00e4ga: &#8220;Jag tycker om dig och jag \u00e4r orolig f\u00f6r att du ska bli sjuk. Jag skulle uppskatta om du slutade r\u00f6ka, men du g\u00f6r som du vill.&#8221; Tjat, gnat och anklagelser brukar inte fungera.
